I am you. You, as in the reader. The reader who was once a little girl, now
a woman. The reader who’s a child of divorce. The reader who was once single, now married. The reader who was once a student, now a teacher. The reader who thought she’d be a mother, now infertile. The reader who once was brave, now anxious. The reader who was energetic, now exhausted. The reader who once was hopeful, now unsure. The reader who just wants to scream. The reader who wants to cry. The reader who just wants to vent out. The reader who wants to give up, but keeps fighting.
In some past or present life, you and I have been the same. We’ve shared similar adventures and jumped over the same hurdles. We’ve wondered and had the same questions; some of which have still been unanswered. We have felt alone even though we have the biggest support system. We have been claustrophobic even though we have all the space imaginable. Our lives continue to be a beautiful chaotic roller coaster of a ride, yet, we do not want to get off.
Each one of us is dealt a hand of cards; it is up to each one of us how we play. This is what has been dealt to me and how I have been playing…
